Wednesday Word: Scrim

Scrim - noun. The piece of fabric (also the name of the fabric) used for curtains, bunting and backdrops. Scrim comes in particularly handy if you are trying to create a certain lighting condition or effect in live theatre. It's a very lightweight, open weave fabric made from cotton or linen and you can actually get the scrim in different sized openings.
