Wednesday Word: Artificer

Artificer - noun.

Today's word comes to you courtesy of my art history class. defines artificer as a skilled person or an inventor - also, a craftsperson. But, the word has so much more meaning to it. Artificer is a somewhat obsolete term, but hundreds of years ago, it was used to denote the skill of craftspeople whose mastery of their medium was extremely accomplished.
