Christ on a cracker - is it just me, or are the weeks getting shorter? Must go quicker when you're the only one posting!

Today's word is awesome, because it combines my three favourite type of words: 1) "OMG, there's a WORD for that?" 2) Made up words! 3) Totally useless in non-specific conversation topics!

Beghilos [Beg-ee-loss]

Definition
Calculator spelling - a technique of spelling words by reading characters upside-down from calculators equipped with certain kinds of seven-segment displays.

Etymology
Calculator spelling has been prevalent ever since the first segmented display calculators were available, and ever since the first student learned that 5318008 spelt BOOBIES upside-down. The term 'BEGHILOS' comes from the letters, in alphabetical order, which can be made using seven-segment numbers - 83941705. As such, it's also sometimes called BEGHILOZ or BEGHILOSZ as a Z is also available.

Usage
Instead of usage, have a couple of haikus!

Illegible blob
Legless eggshell oozes oil
Elegize his loss

Hellish shoe is beige
I slosh soil, slog hill
Hobble, oh high heel

:D
