Hobbes

(no subject)

Hey all. Just like to say that I know a lot of people have been asking that I include the word of the day in a sentence. Most of the time, however, there are words that I find places that don't involve sentences, or that I wrote down and can't find the sentence it was taken from. I'll try to include a sentence, but mostly all I can put is the little bit that's included after some definitions on dictionary.com. So, if you've heard the word and know how to put it in a sentence, please do!

tortuous-adjective [tawr-choo-uhs]
1. full of twists, turns, or bends; twisting, winding, or crooked: a tortuous path.
2. not direct or straightforward, as in procedure or speech; intricate; circuitous: tortuous negotiations lasting for months.
3. deceitfully indirect or morally crooked, as proceedings, methods, or policy; devious.
